BOSNIA—The Bosnian War started in 1992 and ended in 1995. The war resulted in mass genocide, the worst the world had seen since the reign of the Nazis during World War II in 1945. 100,00 were killed, mostly Bosnians, who are Muslims and Croatians. It all began in April of 1992 when the government of the Yugoslav republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina declared its independence from Yugoslavia. This resulted in attacks from Bosnian Serb forces until 1995.
